Review by BMHW : Wanted to LOVE it, but... 3 Star

I'm a mother of three (3.5 yrs, 1.5 yr and 3 mos). I love the double city mini and have been waiting for the glider board to be available. It was easy to assemble and attach to the stroller, and I was eager to get my toddler on the board to try it out. When she stands on the board, she is face to face with the stroller handle. She immediately bumped her mouth as soon as I hit a small bump and she tipped forward. It will take some coaxing to get her back on. When stowing the stroller, you have to remove the wheels before folding and even then, it does not fold back up flat. I will be removing the glider board altogether before folding the stroller. I really want to love this, but so far it has not met my expectations. I think it's a great idea, but still needs more work on those design flaws.

Review by VC_UK : Fantastic! 4 Star

I actually ordered this from the UK as all the Baby Jogger stockists over here are sold out and not expecting any more glider boards in for another month or two, but I was impatient. Delivery was really quick (just under a week) and it didn't cost much more than it would have done buying it in the UK (going on predicted online prices here). I have two boys of 3 and 1 year and am a HUGE Baby Jogger fan and wasn't disappointed. I use a City Elite and a City Mini (yes I know a little unnecessary to have 2 but can't choose between them) and have been using a Lascal Buggy Board with both my prams for the past 6 months but found it a bit unwieldy and cumbersome with the Baby Joggers (they do say it isn't a perfect fit on their website) and made the City mini feel quite unstable, so thought it was time for a change. My new Glider Board arrived today and had its first outing, a good 40 minute walk over rough pavements and loved it. So easy to attach and adjust and so much more compact than what I was using before. I have a long stride and am about 5ft8 so my feet did catch it occasionally, but not nearly as much as before and the City Elite, which is quite a long beast (and felt even longer and harder to steer with the other buggy board) was still easy to steer and maneuver. Loved it. My eldest stayed on and was very happy for the full 40 minute walk too, so no complaints! Its also folds out of the way really neatly. Sadly not when the baby is laid back asleep but nothing is perfect. So all in all, loved it. If you accept that no buggy board type solution is going to be perfect, this is definitely the best buggy board option for the City Elite and City Mini that i've tried. Typical Baby Jogger quality: well made, simple, practical and durable (I hope).

Review by amberdavies : great product! 5 Star

LOVE this glider board, really great wheels that don't trip up on anything, very impressed since my toddler is 43 lbs. We originally bought the city select to use as a double but since both my kids are heavy the stroller is hard to push as a tandem. (36lb and 43lb) so I decided to use it exclusively as a single for now for our 18 month old. But our older toddler was tired sometimes so I bought this. we took it on vacation to gatlinburg and it is fabulous, so much easier to push with both of their weights centered on the stroller. So much easier than our joovy ultralight too but with the same concept. It really is genius how it folds up and you can get it out of the way when not in use. love that. the city select is so easy to push even my tall husband had no problem since you can do it one-handed. Also I would not have ordered the board with my city mini since the handle is not telescoping but with the select it was perfect, he could fit in between the canopy and the handle on the highest setting. Really great accessory. Also you can definitely hold the stroller with it attached, we just hook it in the unused position first.

Review by tchristides : love it! 5 Star

The Baby Jogger Glider Board is brilliant! We were using a different brand on our City Select and it just wasn't working so we decided to buy the Glider and it is great. I love that you can change the length of it so you can have it closer or further out from the frame, depending on the recline of the seat. It is also a great size so my 4 year old can sit down on it with his legs crossed if he's feeling tired and his 2 little brothers are in the seats. The feature of being able to clip it up is fantastic as well - I can do it easily, one-handed which is really good for when I don't need it. Having 3 kids under 4, the Glider board has been almost a necessity for us in turning our City Select into a triple pram.

Review by Liptip : Works perfectly with the City Select! 5 Star

I have a three year old and an 18-month-old and a Baby Jogger City Select stroller. My three year old has gotten to a point where he doesn't like to spend much time in the second seat so it was burdensome to take it with us. I was really excited when I discovered the glider board and it has definitely lived up to my expectations. My son is on the smaller side so he can fit perfectly sitting down cross legged on the board (his favourite way to ride). It may be a bit of a nuisance as I do kick the board when we're walking but a few adjustments to my stride take care of that. And when he's not riding the board clips up easily. It makes the stroller far nicer to push than having the second seat attached and it folds up without any trouble. Highly recommended!

Review by Hillary L. Wald "hw" : GREAT but NOT for the city mini stroller 4 Star

it will work on most stroller that have space for a board rider BETWEEN the handle and the back seat of the stroller- NOT on strollers with too little space like the city mini- take a look at your stroller- could you child stand on the inside part of the handlebar?? If so, try it! Really best for ages 3 and up as 2 year olds will not listen as well and just hop off. Best for summit, select, city elite and others that are similar (bob, bumbleride indie, etc) Also, stroller with air tires will handle the extra weight/pressure the board adds so keep that in mind. That is why there are many reviews here saying this board will not work with the mini- handle is slanted up and def.. not enough space for a child inside the handlebar. GL!

Review by julio CA : Awesome attachment 5 Star

This attachment is the coolest piece I have bought for our City Select. It is almost ready to use out of the box. Extremely easy to install and to stow behind the stroller. It is not intrusive, and our kids love to ride on it. The best of all, is that stroller folds without any problems with the Glider attached to it.

Review by KT "Wild Honu" : Great Idea 3 Star

Good things are the durability, smooth ride, storage solution and ease of attachment. But, I just can't give it a full five stars because it makes more work for me to push the stroller. I am on the shorter side (5'5") and no matter what length the board is positioned, I find it incredibly awkward and uncomfortable to reach the handlebar to push. I even tried walking to the side and pushing with one hand but couldn't control the stroller as easily as with both hands. There almost needs to be a handlebar extension as well that goes around the standing child and enables the adult to walk comfortably behind, which would also free up the main handle bar for the standing child to hold onto. However, my son LOVES riding and it's the perfect solution for that in-between toddler/preschool age when a stroller would be useful but is somewhat overkill. Hubby is quite a bit taller with longer arms, but he has yet to try using the stroller with the board attached.
