I am impressed with how well this stroller handles "off road". We live out in the country, and this stroller is being put to the test on gravel roads, dirt driveways and pavement. It has performed beautifully. The seat area is large, and my child seems quite comfortable. We went for an hour long walk today, and she was happy/content. If you are in the market for an all terrain type of stroller... this one is great!

My wife and I have a 3 year old son and 9 month old daughter. We received this as a gift when our son was born in 2008, so the current model has some improvements over what we use (wheels primarily) and some downgrades. Once he was about 6 months old I started jogging with him in the stroller and have used it jogging several miles or more 3-5 times a week nearly every week since then. I wanted a swivel wheel because I cant stand having to constantly lift the front to turn and our neighborhood has lots of turns, cul de sacs and hills. With that said, the front wheel will wobble very badly if you run faster than a 8-10 minute mile on smooth roadway with pressue forward and not down on the handle, sidewalks are worse, so if you actually jog or run, you will have to lock the wheel. Locked in place, you can get a 6 minute mile out of it with no problem. In locked position, tracking does suffer a little (one of the difference between this and a higher priced jogger) but I can keep it straight with minimal effort (I usually jog one handed anyway except for hills). Also, in the locked position it can turn by torquing the stroller the direction you want it to go and you dont have to lift the front to go around turns and navigate cul de sacs or most curves, even when jogging fast. It folds relatively easily and isnt much of a chore to fold and stash in the back for a trip to the park, we have a minivan, so not sure how it fares in smaller trunks. It started squeaking realy bad after minimal use, but I took the backwheels off and used automotive lube on the rear axle and it hasnt made a sound yet. The accessories that come included are great, and none of that "paying more money after already buying the stroller" stuff- it pretty much comes with everything you need right out of the box, child's tray (with horn and steering wheel- the kids love it), parents tray, side bags, storage space, etc. Some people might find the bottom storage area small if you use it a primary stroller with large diaper bags and the sorts, but it is made to be a jogger/walker, not a daylong stroller, so it works great for that purpose. The cup holders are small, when I use taller kiddy cups they tend to bounce out over bumps, so I keep the kids cups small and use a kids cup in my own holder or put my larger water bottle on the bottom (water bottles wont fit in the cupholders). The canopy is a little annoying as it goes down only so far and is attached, so when I run in the later evening hours around sunset or at sunrise, the kids get sun in their eyes-but with all our turns the sun isnt in their face for long. The peekaboo window in the canopy is great as my daughter sleeps almost the entire time she is in it and I can see her while jogging. All in all, it is a good buy for the price; in my opinion it will serve the needs of most casual to avid joggers; things that you get in higher priced models like hand brake, better locked wheel tracking, etc. do suffer but are easily bearable and the lack of does not detract from how much you will enjoy the stroller. I would definitely buy it again. Now that we have two kids, I am looking to use a double (though there is still plenty of room for my 3 yo but the newer design does appear a little smaller on the front for leg room- so read a more current review for comfort fgor age and size) and am bummed I cant get this in a double stroller- I would definitely buy it if it were available. I gave it 5 stars because I really like it and look forward to jogging with the kids because they are comfortable and happy in it and it has everything I need and does what I want it to do. There are better products out there, but for the price you will be hard pressed to find one you like more. Even though this model is labeled as an urban terrain stroller and not a jogger, it has worked out well for me for as a jogger.

this stroller is awesome, it turns great and the ipod hook up was actually louder than i thought it would be. the chair part lays down further than my travel set did which is great because my son often snoozes on long walks/jog; there is mesh on both sides so if i have to cover the stroller for any reason my son can still see out the sides. the ONLY complaint i would have is it really takes up all available space in the back of our jeep compass but thats not really a malfunction with the stroller.

I love this stroller, it pushes like a dream compared to the stroller that came with the car seat that the in-laws bought us. The features are great, we have only 1 complaint with it; it doesn't fit in my trunk! I have a Toyota Camry, and it has a decent trunk. So then I had my husband try to put it in the back seat next to the car seat, no go. So I'd have to move the car seat to the side and not where it's safest in the middle OR try to fit it in the front seat and sit in the back with my son. So if anyone has any tricks on getting it in the trunk I'd sure like to hear them.

Is this a jog stroller? No. It states in the manual to not run or rollerblade with it. It lacks handbrakes, other safety features and the manual says the reflectors are for "decoration only". Is this an off road stroller? Not really. It does have inflatable tires for a smooth ride and grippy wheel performance, but it does not have any shock-style absorption and the seat lacks any real cushioning of note -- so a baby or child is not going to be happy on a bumpy path. Is this a good stroller to keep in the trunk for errands? Lord no! This stroller weighs a whopping 30 pounds empty and does not fold up well at all. The weight makes it hard to lift and the awkward way it folds shut makes it a SUPER pain in the tush to get a grip on to drag it out of your trunk. Please note that the stroller folds with the handle folding down to the floor, this means you have to pull it out of car, stand it up, and then get underneath it with both hands to unlock the 2-step mechanism that unfolds the stroller which is located on the handle. I have 3 other strollers and tried many and NONE I have ever seen does this, all others I have used/owned/borrowed fold with the handle at the top for ease of unfolding. Another disappointment is that you have to recline the seat fully to even fold this stroller up. That means every time you open it, you have to readjust the seat -- this is done with an adjustable pull strap, not a lever. This would be less of an issue if I didn't already have to mutton-bust this thing into shape in the parking lot. So is this stroller for going for walks around the neighborhood? I guess, but there are a few things there it even falls short of. First of all the wheel base is massively oversized, it is only 4 inches narrower than our front door. This is not necessary because the axels the tires meet up with have an extra 3 inches of space on each side that could be taken in. If it is not an exercise stroller, you do not need this width and it simply makes it cumbersome. If you decided to throw caution to the wind and take it for a jog, your shins/feet will hit the back of the basket -- mine did and I am only 5'2"! If the sun is out, put a hat on your kid because the sunshade is pretty short to start with and it will not fold out all the way. Because of the very stiff fabrics used, it will not extend fully and it is not adjustable since it is attached to the handle area. The basket is rather small compared to the space available to accomodate it, if they were excited about such a wide wheel base you'd think it would have a much wider basket but it does not. The brake bar starts to slip down after a while, so get ready to keep kicking it up every few blocks. The metal bar is not removable as far as I can tell. Also, the frame is slightly off center and the whole things pulls to one side. So this stroller is just for music lovers then? Surprisingly, no it is not. The speaker is very poor quality and the cherry on the sundae is that an iPhone/iPod will not fit into the MP3 compartment, really. So who the heck is this stroller for? As near as I can tell this stroller is marketed to appeal to Jeep lovers. Like owning a Jeep, owning one of these strollers is a labor of love and not really the best/easiest lifestyle choice. It gets the job done and looks very cool doing it, but there are a lot of easier to manage options available. So why 3 stars and not one? I am happy to say that it has a few things going for it: -- The bottom basket is divided into front and back compartments so you can access things from the front and back of stroller, this is really great because if your child drops a toy it falls into the basket and not onto the ground -- ditto kicking off a shoe. -- It is the perfect gender-neutral green. The color of this thing is just great, it looks cheerful and is easy to spot. -- The adult cup holders on the handle base are wonderful, nice and deep and wide enough for a fountain drink cup. -- If you take out the horrible speaker case you have a nice open cubby that you can put your iPhone/iPod in -- It is a very smooth ride if you stay on paved surfaces; the inflatable tires are great for that. -- I like the one wheel up front option for very sharp and smooth turns. This stroller gets an A for effort, but really fails in execution. It has some great pluses, but the type and volume of its short comings would prevent me from recommending this to anyone -- except for my husband's friend Garret who drives a Jeep ;)

I just bought this jogger and went out for my first time today!! I couldn't be happier for the price. I did check out other joggers that were more higher end in price, such as the BOB and Baby Jogger. I was willing to pay more - I just wanted one that for sure met my needs - I chose this one because: #1 I wanted a 3-wheel jogger that swiveled and handled rough terrain. Roomy enough for my 3 year toddler - who still goes with me to exercise in the morning. #2 Lots of pockets and compartments on jogger. I love the basket underneath. It has a divider in it - so it gives a front & back basket. And very large to fit blankets and diaper bag, or jackets etc. . . The front basket is under the footrest for easy access to a jacket or Sippy cup - anything that I don't want to dig in the back for. # 3 The footrest comes way out - so my son's feet are not dangling off , and cover's the wheel so well that his feet are safe from getting caught in it or anything etc. .. #4 The seat is wide & tall for a bigger child, and it has a 5-point harness; or you can just use the 3 point one too. The seat lowers way back for a comfortable nap - with a peek-a-boo window in the canopy part. #5 One downfall - the canopy is attached to the top back of seat. So if you wanted to pull the shade down lower in front you cant because it's attached - I will have to rig something up - maybe clothes pin a burp cloth or something to cover him on sunny days etc. . . #6 I love the parent tray - the cup holders (2) are deep enough that my water bottle stays in, even when I am bumping along on & off curbs etc. . . It has iPod speakers for your baby to listen too - they're ok - good enough for baby. I still like my own music to exercise too - so I still used my own iPod. It can snap on & off of jogger if you need to take it off to clean. # 7 It has side compartments on both sides of seat - big enough to hold a wallet, phone, keys etc. . . they Velcro shut. They can be taken off as well - if you need to throw them in the wash. # 8 The baby tray has 2-cup holders too - deep enough that I put a Capri sun in them and it stood up well over the terrain. It has a play car steering wheel & horn that can snap on to play with - BIG HIT!! Not only with my son - but when I went to the park - the other kids ran over and played with it too. You can take the entire tray off too for easy clean - and or if you child is sleeping and you need to take them out carefully. I believe it accommodates most infant car seat as well. #9 I put this stroller together myself - instead of my husband. It was soooo easy - I couldn't believe how easy it was. I read the review above and sounds like she was missing some assembly parts. My paperwork told me that I needed 6 washers and I only had 3 - but was only asked to use 2 - sooo not a big deal to me + we have washers in our tool box that I could have used if needed. Over all - for what I paid - and I would have paid more, I love this jogger. I would recommend it to anyone. Many parents came and checked it out when I was at the park. I love that Amazon gives great deals + free shipping.

Review by catwhitey : Great except for one major issue.

We have a different color but I'm pretty sure the model is the same. This has overall been a very nice stroller. It was easy to put together, and has great shocks for riding over bumpy sidewalks. My main issue is with the design of the brakes. It's a bar that sits above the two back wheels that you can press down with your foot to lock the brake on. This worked well at first, but after a few months the bar started to slide down on it's own due to gravity, so now when we walk I have to keep pushing the bar up with my foot every 40 paces or so to keep the brake from hitting the wheels. This is a VERY BIG nuisance!!! I'm not sure how else they could design this so this doesn't happen, but it seems like a common sense issue not to have a weighty bar slide down to brake. I would recommend going to the store and checking out this feature before purchasing. We got it as a gift and didn't see it beforehand, but if I had bought this myself I would be quite upset with this function.

The product description clearly says that this is not a "jogger" and it is probably because this just is not quite as sturdy or durable as such an item needs to be. For a multi-terrain stroller though, so far, so good. It was easy to assemble and while I have only had it for a few weeks, I have not experienced any of the brake slippage issues described by other reviewers. Having space for coffee is greatly appreciated and if the scenery is not engaging enough, there are built in distractions to entertain the rider. It is large, bulky and heavy but this can be said for every baby transportation "system" on the market. Invest in an umbrella stroller for quick trips and you are set.

I actually own an old model of this stroller but I love it! Talked my friend into getting the newer model and she loves it too. Perfect balance of all terrain, comfort, ease of use, size, and maneuverability. I can go on any dirt path without my son complaining too much in this. It turns on a dime and fits through most doors. I can push it with one finger if it's not too heavily loaded. Cargo area fits a ton and cup holders for baby and mom. Folds up very easily. Cons...As with any jogging stroller it's a bit big (but smaller than even some traditional strollers) and it's pretty tippy if fully loaded with the wheel unlocked and turning sharply.
