Review by Lilou "E. Kiken" : Great bag for stroller or even pack'n'play.
I bought this bag for an international trip I was taking. I used it for my child's pack and play plus small umbrella stroller. It was easily big enough for both items, and I perhaps could have even fit her regular sized stroller in there with the pack and play as well. (I didn't want to bring it though.) I wrapped the bag in duct tape for extra security when it passed through at the airport. This bag has now endured 6 flights and has held up wonderfully. There is a small hole where it looks like it got caught on something, but it has not affected the usefullness of the bag. The handles are still perfect. The pack and play and stroller have come out unscathed and fine every time. This is great for lugging around large baby items.
Review by KT : sturdy, HUGE, perfect for the plane!
Everyone who has kids and travels should have one of these! This bag is enormous! We can fit either our infant car seat or our huge Britax in it. We have yet to try both, but I think they would fit! What some people don't know is that the airlines will check any kid item for free. Obviously car seats are free because it is required by law to have your kid in one. If you just want to protect your car seat, you can get this instead of using the fairly heavy-duty plastic bag the airline usually provides. You can put your car seat in here and then anything else that is kid related, like formula, diapers, a stroller, obviously, a pack and play, etc. We have used it on 2 round trip flights now and it has held up with no tears or rips! We travel with our 2 kids about every other month, which is ridiculous! This bag is saving the day now because it folds up in the back seat of our Honda Accord and then we whip it out on the curb when we get to the airport and pack in the car seat(s) and diapers or stroller!
Review by E. Johnson "ak momma" : Worked great, but zipper is cheap & pulls open
My sister & i both bought this recentley for a familyu trip.. when we had problems with our return flight my brother-in-law was trying to rangle a 7yo, a 1 yr old & the stroller by himself. my sister & the 9yo had to go on a different flight...the zipper ripped open & couldn't be closed all the way at the gate! so he had to leave it that way & just board.. i chkd mine as bagage & when i got it back the zipper was ripped open as well..i fixed it after awhile, but kind of a pain.. i love the bag itself though.. very durable material & SO big.. i was able to fit the carseat base & a bunch of extra stuff in with it.. just as long as the zipper doesn't rip open so that things fall out & get lost.. i will use it again for sure, but i will probably tape it before either gate chking it or bag chking it..
Review by Laura : Very nice bag
We just returned from our 4-flight trip with this stroller bag and it's still in perfect condition. The airline made me a bit nervous when I had to sign a damage waiver since a stroller isn't a standard suitcase, but the bag did an excellent job of protecting our new Chicco Cortina Stroller, Adventure. I folded down the stroller handle just to be safe and it fit very nicely in the bag. I was worried that the bag would be too big, but there was just the right amount of extra space. The stroller was easy to put in the bag and there was room to stuff a couple blankets and a backpack full of baby toys that we accumulated on our trip since they wouldn't fit in our other checked bag. I love that strollers can be checked for free and the little bit of extra bag space saved us from paying $30 to check a second bag. I read the reviews about the shoulder strap breaking, so when the bag arrived from Amazon (ahead of schedule!) I just removed the should strap and we carried it by the 2 handles around the middle of the bag. No problems at all. This is an excellent product and well worth the purchase.
Review by Annmarie Noll : Very good product!
This bag & zipper are made with very strong quality materials and even allowed me to store some extra items in the bag without being charged by the airline!! I was able to sneak in a bike seat & helmet along w/ some toys without any problems! The zipper was stretched at the corners near the wheels of the stroller from over stuffing but the product help up without any problems! Well worth the price considering airlines charge so much for extra bags!!
Review by E. Vogel "Invitation and Announcement Designer" : Sturdy & Safe
I was traveling alone with my 7 mo old daughter and had to use a combination of my Ergo carrier and the stroller to go through the airport. I bought this travel bag to help ensure that the stroller would have some protection when gate checked. Thankfully there were people who helped me pack up the stroller into the bag while holding the baby in the carrier, but the travel bag really did protect the stroller and worked great. It fit my Chicco Cortina Stroller perfectly with extra room (so it wasn't difficult to zip). I highly recommend it.
Review by Sara M. Harvey "Ambitious Authoress" : A great investment
Before traveling from Nashville to Oakland with my new baby, I did a lot of research on how best to get my gear there in one piece. I opted to take advantage of Southwest's very generous stroller and carseat checking policy and not schlep my stuff through multiple airports. I chose this stroller bag because it was really the only option. Reviews are mixed but I have had good experiences with this! On the way out, my husband left the shoulder strap on- but that did not turn out to be a problem- although I have been more vigilant about taking it off for future trips. The bag held up great! No tears, the zipper remained intact, it was great! Granted, Southwest is known for having the best luggage-handlers in the business, so this bag might not hold up as well subjected to the manhandling of other airlines' "chuckers." I use a Graco travel system stroller and it is a tight fit around the back wheels, but the bag still zips up well and did not give me any drama. While there is some space left in the bag, I didn't have anything I was willing to let get crushed against the stroller in transit. This bag has no padding at all! But if you had bulky things that could fold flat like beach towels, this would be a great place to stash them! I think I might put the extra baby blankets in here next time. All in all, I found this bag sturdy, reliable, and perfect for my needs! (And even though it's April 1st, this is a no-foolin' review!)
Review by Andrea Da Silva "2boyz" : Perfect for Baby Jogger CITY SELECT Double seats
I want and need a stroller bag, but the baby jogger city select bag is around $80. When I found this bag on sale for $25, I took it out in the store and was suprised to see my CITY SELECT stroller fit in perfectly, and with room to spare. It will easily fit the stroller, and the two seats, and stroller accessories. I needed to take one wheel, but that isn't a big deal. they easily snap on and off, and i actually prefer that to protect them more. A little heavy to carry with shoulder strap, but not so bad with handles. No big deal to put it on a luggage cart. Awesome way to protect my $$$$ stroller.
