Review by A. Kunkel : So glad I found this stroller!
With a 2 yr old and a newborn, this stroller is perfect. My daughter is very independent and HATED her stroller. Now she has the freedom to get in and out and sit or stand. We took it to the mall and she has never been so well behaved. She's not confined and is happy to ride in the stroller. When she's happy, I'm happy! With the infant carrier in the front, we prop up the foot rest and there's another shelf to store the diaper bag! The basket is a little hard to reach, but I can live with that. The handle height is great for my 6'4" boyfriend and now he doesn't mind pushing. The shorter length is great for me since I'm only 5'2" and sometimes have trouble seeing just exactly where the front end it. It is sturdy and folds up and down fairly easily. This is hands down one of the best purchases we have made!
Review by A. N. Brown "Happy Kingdom Mom & Wife" : Great stroller but needs a little improvement!
I have a 2 & 1/2 year old and a newborn (1 month) and this stroller is perfect for us. In doing our research on double strollers I knew we wouldn't be able to purchase a traditional double stroller, mainly because my car trunk is too small. I have a convertible. What I love about this stroller is it fits our infant carrier (Graco Snug Ride) safely and securely. It is also fairly light and fits nicely in my compact trunk. It moves smoothly, almost like a jogging stroller. And I can also get it in & out of my car quickly. My toddler loves it. The areas of improvement this stroller needs is having the bench seat lock into place so it doesn't slides as your strolling. This is my greatest grievance with this stroller. Also it would be nice if this stroller came with the convenient accessories we've become use to with our other strollers, such as a cup holder, tray, clock & etc. Lastly, with the basket it is a little irritating that you have to move the toddler to get to it. But what I've been doing when the item is small enough is putting the items in the basket from the side. Suggestion to the manufactuer: 1. Allow the bench seat to lock in place while strolling. 2. Allow for side access to the storage basket so it is quicker and more convenient for the parent and toddler. 3. Add a small tray for the parent, to increase convenience we've grown accustomed to with other strollers. Overall, thus far we are all happy and satisfied with this stroller. Good job joovy!
Review by MeganG74 : Look no further - This stroller is awesome!!!
I was in desperate need of a double stroller. When I had a newborn and a toddler, I got a Kolcraft Jeep double. It was heavy and bulky and nearly impossible to navigate. I recently purchased a double umbrella side-by-side, thinking it would solve my problems. While I loved the size and maneuverability, it was simply too wide to handle some door sizes and many store aisles in the city we live (forcing us to wait outside while family got to look around - no fun!). So, I began hunting for something better. I debated between the Safety 1st/Eddie Bauer Transit Tandem, the Baby Trend Sit N Stand, and the Joovy Caboose. After inspecting them all, measuring, and going for test drives, here are my results: Safety 1st/Eddie Bauer Transit Tandem: Weight - 33.8 lbs. (according to the Walmart website, but it sure didn't feel that high) WHEELS footprint (not to be confused with manufacturer dimensions) - 33x20 TOTAL folded/collapsed size (including all attachments such as footrests, canopy, etc. since who wants to remove them every time?) - 47 long x 13 wide x 16 high Overall impression - I really liked this stroller: compact size, cushy child straps. The only problem I had was leg/foot room. My 3-1/2 yo daughter and almost 2 yo son (both VERY low on the height percentile, like 5%) already had very little in BOTH positions. Considering they will only get bigger, I would definitely recommend this stroller for smaller children, like 4-24 months. Otherwise, excellent navigation and good collapsed size. Baby Trend Sit N Stand: Weight - 25.3 lbs. WHEELS footprint - 40x21 TOTAL folded/collapsed size - 50 long x 21 wide x 14 high Overall impression - Not bad, and if I hadn't tried the next one, this would have been my choice (by default). Fairly good maneuvering, although the parent cup tray was very cheap. Joovy Caboose: Weight - 24 lbs. WHEELS footprint - 31.5x21.5 TOTAL folded/collapsed size - 46 long x 21.5 wide x 15 high Overall impression - Excellent! The very compact wheel footprint makes this a dream to handle. It fits in tight squeezes with ease, which was my main concern. The lack of parent cupholder doesn't faze me, since they're easy to add. Some people have negative comments on the sliding seat. While I can see how some wouldn't like this, in my opinion, it's not like it slides constantly and easily. It requires a little effort to move, so that doesn't bother me either. In fact, my 3 yo daughter LOVES LOVES LOVES (her words) this stroller, so I let her pick which color (she chose orange). This stroller is by far the most compact, affordable double and well worth the slightly higher expense over the BT Sit N Stand. That is, if you want a better constructed, smaller footprint, easier to navigate stroller.
Review by M. King "mkk03054" : Great alternative to a double stroller...
We have a 3 year old and a 4 month old and this stroller suits us well. My daughter is very tall for 3 and her feet drag on the ground in most strollers so this is perfect for her. I like that I can buckle her in when I need to and she likes the option to stand giving her a little more freedom than in the past. After pushing around a Graco Duo-Glider that I borrowed from our sister in-law this thing seems so light! Other tandems are very long making them hard to steer, this one has a shorter footprint so it is a lot easier to manuever. My son is large too and outgrew his infant carseat very early so the front seat does need to be reclined for him due to his age. This does not give my daughter a ton of room when she is sitting but he'll be able to sit in the upright position soon enough. I think it is great for getting the older child from the car to the store w/o having to worry about traffic in busy parking lots. It's a lot more convenient than bring a HUGE double stroller everywhere for a 3 year old who might want to ride and might not. It should be useful for a lot longer than a traditional double stroller for anyone with kids spaced a couple of years apart.
Review by N. Williams "SoCali_Mom_of_Two" : The BEST stroller option for two children!!!! Superior quality!!
This stroller is HANDS DOWN the best designed stroller I've seen for two children. I have had so many people stop me and ask me where I got this stroller! Trust me, you WILL LOVE this stroller, and you won't be disappointed. It is worth the money, and will turn into the only stroller you will want to use! It isn't as big and bulky as a double stroller (huge plus!), yet conviently carries both my toddler and infant. My two-year-old daughter would get antsy in her original stroller and would end up wanting to walk or have me carry her. However, the feature of her being able to sit (or stand) in the open platform has been an absolute lifesaver!! She LOVES having the freedom of sitting or standing on the stroller, and I love that she's safe and secure in the stroller. I love the car-seat attachment on the front of the stroller - very creative design that I would think secure any infant seat. It has an ample storage bin (and not easily accessible by my toddler which is a good thing!!), and has pockets behind the seat to easily store drinks/keys/phone/wallet. Hubby LOVES this stroller because the push bar is TALL - so he's not hunched over like the other strollers we've purchased. We currently own SIX strollers, and this stroller is by far the best we have ever owned, and will be the only one we use in the future. Assembly was easy - just click the front two wheels and you're done! I am also very impressed with the quality - from the straps and buckles to the seat material and wheels. The stroller also maneuvers well, unlike most double-strollers. If you are shopping for a stroller for two, this is an absolute MUST purchase!
