Review by Lisa Chu "twin_mommy_in_CA" : Nice stroller 4 Star

I just purchased this stroller and am mostly happy with it. Here is a list of pros and cons: Pros: Took hubby 10 minutes to put together Easy to fold - one motion Maneuvers very well - no wobble for me - can steer with one finger! Sturdy Only 30 lbs - not as light as a double umbrella but not bad Great price for a jogger Sun canopy fully adjustable to block sun no matter what the angle Smooth ride for babies (I have twin 13-month-olds) Seats recline nearly all the way flat, I can change a diaper in it Seats recline individually Fits in the back of my Prius with lots of room to spare Has parent tray with two drink holders MP3 player nice touch (BTW, for those who complain it is too quiet, that's because the speakers are for the BABIES, whose hearing is much more sensitive than yours, especially since you are much further away from the speakers! Get headphones if you are determined to listen to music while wheeling your baby around through traffic.) Cons: Major con is that it does not fit through most doors, despite other reviews. I realize jogging strollers are wide, so I'm not docking a star for that reason. Our doorways are standard width and it will not fit through our front door, or through the doors at our hospital (we can fit through the double door entrance, but try making it into an exam room with this thing - not a chance). Divider in cargo net below creates less usable space - no room for a (large) diaper bag, which seems a pretty big oversight considering this is a product for kids. This is why the docked star. However, there are nets in the rear of the seats for extra storage, which is nice.

Review by Lucky Lady : GREAT stroller for the price! 4 Star

I bought this stroller about six months ago when my two toddlers (now 2 and 3.5) outgrew the lightweight Peg Perego double we had been using. It was easily less than half the price of other high-end double jogging strollers. My favorite thing about it is that it's SO easy to push, even with one hand and 70 pounds of kids inside. The large wheels run very smoothly. I've pushed both kids around for 10 hours at a time at Disneyland without any issues on my end. It is a MUST to have the lock/unlock front wheel feature--there are times when you need to use one or the other. In general, I think the faster you push or the more unbalanced the two kids are in weight, the more you will need to lock the front wheel. Fantastic storage on three levels (upper, middle, lower) and I appreciate the two cup holders. The fact that the canopy can swivel all the way from top to bottom (unlike our Peg Perego's) is also a huge plus. There are two reasons I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5: 1. I do not like having a stroller or carseat that has a covering which cannot be removed and washed in the washing machine. With two kids in this stroller every time it's used, it gets messy to the point where wiping it with a sponge is completely useless. 2. The wheel-to-wheel width seems to be just about 1/2 to 1 inch wider than a standard retail door frame. I've had to bypass certain stores simply because I couldn't get the stroller inside the door! If it was slightly less wide (like the width of a wheelchair?), it would be perfect. All in all, this is our fourth stroller purchase (single or double) and it's right up there with our expensive Bugaboo Frog in terms of ease of use. We love it.

Review by Amy : Great Value 4 Star

We have 3 month old twins and wanted a new double stroller. We have the Graco Duo-Glider, but when we put our daughter in the back she pushes the front seat with her feet and jostles her brother around. We decided to get a side-by-side double. I did a lot of research online and decided that I wanted the Combi Twin. We went to a Babies R Us to see it in person and then were going to order from Amazon. I tried the babies in the Combi and they looked pretty comfortable. I tried folding it up and it was nice and small and lightweight. Then I tried to push it around to see what it would be like and I'm glad I did! The Combi has 3 sets of wheels across the back and I am 5'10. Every step I took I was stepping on the middle set of back wheels. Not good! My husband really liked this Baby Trend Expedition Double. I thought it was too heavy. He put the babies in it and they looked comfortable and I tried pushing them around. One time down the aisle and I was sold. It is such a dream to push! Very easy to control, turns on a dime, GREAT parent tray with 2 cup holders and a large covered compartment, great sun shade that isn't attached to the top of the stroller so you can move it to any position to block the sun, 1 mesh pocket in each child seat, 1 pocket on each child seat back, a large under seat storage pocket....only problem is that it is divided so I have to really cram the diaper bag in or hang it across the stroller handle bar. I also like that it has no center back wheel so there is plenty of room for walking behind the stroller. The brakes are very easy to engage/disengage. It folds up nicely and fits in the back of the T&C with room on the side for groceries. I took it to the mall and it fits through the standard store doorway as long as you go slow and line it up just right. Most stores have double doors though, so it's not a problem. Our 5 year old even likes to sit on the front plastic footrest and go for a ride. Also want to address the "issue" of the shakey front wheel. Our front wheel was also very shakey and made a clicking noise with every revolution. Super annoying. It has a quick release lever like on your bicycle tires. I took the wheel off and inspected it. There is a nut on either side of the tire unit....finger tighten those and put the wheel back on...problem solved! I also read reviews where people said the front wheel fell off. There is no way for the front wheel to fall off unless you didn't put it on correctly. The quick release wheel lever needs to be turned/screwed until there is resistance when you push/lock the lever down into place. This is a great stroller for less than $200!!! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the under seat storage bin...should have been 1 open compartment.

Review by J. Hamilton : Love it!! 5 Star

I have done alot of research on double jogging strollers and really wanted a Bob. But, I couldn't justify spending that much money on a stroller that I would only use for three more years. After reading the reviews on many different strollers I knew what I was looking for. I have a "beefy" three year old and a newborn so I knew I needed something that was stable with the weight difference. I found the Baby Trend Navigator/Sonic at Babies R Us and then proceeded to find everything I've wanted on a stroller to be on this one. It is their newer model and comes with two swivel wheels on the front, and these wheels can lock so they don't swivel anymore. There was no wobble whatsoever when I used it. My five year old became tired on my run so I put her in the stroller and had her hold the baby. I had a combined weight of 100 lbs and felt no difference whatsoever. A new perk is the MP3 player on the parent tray, we love it. I highly recommend this stroller, I own a single Baby Trend jogging stroller that has lasted me many many years and hope this also lasts as long. If you are buying this for twins, it has the ability to hold two car seats at a time. Something that isn't available on the more expensive brands. Plus you have to pay extra for the tray that holds the car seat. It also fits through my front door, the back wheels come off super easy, there are separate sun shades that are not attached and it's easy to fold and it fits nicely in the back of my Suburban. All in all, I have nothing bad to say about this stroller, I love it and can't wait to put many miles on it.

Review by DJR : Very happy 5 Star

I am very happy with our Baby Trend double jogging stroller. I haven't had anything break and it's a pleasure to push, easy to assemble and use. I had previously bought and returned the InStep Suburban Safari Double Stroller and I was not happy with it. I use the stroller everyday for long, fast walks. I have a long stride and I like that I don't kick the back axle of the Baby Trend (that's the main reason I returned the InStep). I also like that the back axle is metal not plastic (the InStep one was plastic) and that the back wheels are large. The front wheel can lock straight or can swivel. On my single stroller I always kept it straight for fast walking, but on this one I've been able to leave it on swivel and it still pushes very smoothly. The sun shade has a flap so you can see your children. It also is ratcheted and not sewn on to the seat so it can be moved to wherever the sun is which works great. The straps don't have pads, so if your child is small enough to need them you would have to add them. The stroller will fit out my front door but not doors inside my house, so I'm not sure how it would do if your main use is shopping. It does fold down easily and fits in the back of my mini van. The wheels can also be removed easily to make it flatter. Hope this helps!
