Review by DC Dad : First time dad, love running with my 8mo old
I'm 6'2", my baby is 8mo old and 24" tall. Right now everything seems to be fine for us with stroller, I can't speak to the problems of short parents or too tall babies. Rolls well, steers easily, folds up nicely, feels quite sturdy. My only gripe was that the pump didn't have instructions. So if you are reading this, pull the metal threaded end ALL THE WAY OUT of the plastic body and then screw it into the small hole on the opposite end of the plastic body. This somewhat simplistic device baffled me for about two weeks. Fortunately luck and stubbornness saw me through.
Review by D.Hopf : I am not easily impressed....but The stroller does it!
I have been through many a stroller and looked at many joggers before deciding to buy the zoom 360. I had my heart set on a Bob Revolution, but the high price tag warranted a little shopping around first. I came across the zoom and decided to give it a try. I looked at the baby trend, and the instep strollers as well, but my dd is 2 and the seat in those simply didnt accomadate a taller child. The Zoom just arrived, assembly was easy - just basically snapping the wheels on and it was ready. The folding is a tad awkward but - I think I will get used to it quick. The wire handle, and folding lock are also plusses and will come in handy. The canopy is large and the seat lays flat and when upright is pretty upright and not still reclined like many joggers. The seat is quite wide, but for a toddler it's perfect. Honestly for the $200 price tag, I am really impressed with this stroller! Rain cover and parent console included! Also the basket is easily accessible and large!
Review by Mama G : In love with this stroller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally, my joovy arrived in the mail today! With Amazon Prime it arrived very fast.Ok, I've been researching jogger stollers for weeks. Maybe a couple months. I really wanted to find the perfect one before investing $200 +. I didn't want to spend the money for the "Bob", and found cheaper joggers on walmart.com - but I had to shop around a bit before deciding. I ended up choosing this one for many reasons. First of all, I had to ask myself. What are my go-buttons? - Before having my baby (April 2011) I used to jog up to 3 miles several times a week, so I wanted a jogger that is actually BUILT for a serious jogger. (Unlike the Citi Mini, sorry to be a wet blanket but that thing is a joke! for serious runners at least.) - It had to have "bike tires" for a smoother ride for baby - It had to have a huge sun visor, my baby doesn't like the sun in her eyes - It had to have springy shocks to soften the bumps - Needed a 5 point harness - Needed a swivel wheel that could also lock in place - Needed to fold up easily and pretty compact - Needed a cup holder and basket underneath for storage - It needed to LOOK cool (preferably black, not flashy dorky colors either) - It needed to be able to recline back pretty far as well as sit upWell, the Joovy has all these things plus a few extras! The wind/rain cover and bike pump and parent console are nice bonuses. I read lots of reviews on this one and decided to take the plunge and am so happy I did. I took it out for a test drive this afternoon at the park and it runs like a breeze, is so smooth and I absolutely love it. My 4.5 month old is on the bigger side so she fits perfectly in it and she loved it also. I really like that she sits up higher in it. All in all, this jogger stroller is all that I wanted and more. I love it so much. Thanks Amazon and the groovy Joovy!!!
Review by Lula McBride : Everything great except my 20 mo son's head hits canopy
Very easy to push and maneuver. I like the higher handlebars as I hate to have to hunch over a stroller as it hurts my neck and shoulders. But one detail is off and it's very off -- the seat back is too low as one particular reviewer is upset about as well. My son is almost 21 months old. He is 99th percentile in height. But even though he's far from weighing 75 pounds (he is 28 lbs) I don't know if we'll be able to use this stroller beyond the coming Spring because when the visor is opened his head absolutely presses against it. We have the Joovy Kooper and the seat back and height of visor is fine on that one and I felt confident buying this one without trying it out in a store but I'm disappointed. I think this is a fantastic brand. The strollers are well built, very well priced, come on great colors, they show good thinking in much of the design like the huge sun visors and the reflective tape all over the stroller for traffic safety. But in each of the Joovy strollers we own there is one flaw that pretty strongly affects functionality and isn't easily dismissed. In the Zoom the problem is the low seat back keeping us from using this stroller as long as we should and in the Kooper it is how the brakes on the back wheels stick out too much and are in no way whatsoever designed to allow you to bump the stroller up and down stairs. Both of which are bigger issues than say, size of a basket or whatever. Added note later on: Another flaw to report - the strap behind the seat that raises or lowers the seat does not lock properly. The strap just slides through it with a minimal amount of pressure.
Review by Rachel Halverson : Excellent Jogger for the Price...
Pros: a sun cover that covers the entire baby while jogging or walking, free additions that are extras with other strollers (i.e. rain guard tent, and tire pump), lightweight, good ability to see child from back of the stroller, good seat adjustments. Excellent traction. Smooth ride.Easy pedal brake. Amazing price (I got mine for under $200.00) for joggers within this class... Cons: There is not a way to lock the front tire from the handle-bars. One has to stop jogging/walking, brake the jogger and then click the wheel into lock position. I've not found a way to adjust the handle-bars. The harness works well 70% of the time, otherwise, my kiddo slides to one side. 9 reasons this is a "pro" vs. 4 reasons this jogger is a "con."
Review by Douglas R. Gould : Very disappointed
Just received this stroller and after assembly our 3 yr old son cannot sit in it without his head hitting the top of the canopy. I can't imagine a 75lb child sitting in it unless its a short 75lb child or a hole is cut in the top of the canopy or it just is never used. Our son is only 39 inches tall and 40lbs. This stroller may be great for us but our son will have outgrown it in a few more months except without the use of the canopy. So what's the point of canopy if you can't use it. The sad point is that the canopy has room for his head if it didn't sag so much. There are snaps which are supposed to increase the clearance but this only prevents the canopy from fully extending. Also the seat back adjusted all the way up still has a recline so he is not sitting upright unless he is not laying against the seat back. The parents organizer is a joke, only held loosely in place with velcro straps.
Review by Petite Consumer by "Ilana" : Run Along with the Joovy Zoom 360
Length:: 6:45 MinsThe Petite Consumer Says: We think this is a great jogger with higher end features and a lower end price tag. With all inclusive features such as the rain cover, tire pump and parent organizer this stroller is a great value.
Review by Ali C. Bagci "Shop Man" : Joovy is awsome!
After doing much research on jogging strollers I chose this this one. I was a little hesitant but took the leap. I wish I had gotten this stroller 6 months ago. My son is now 13 months and we can now take him with us for a jog by locking the front wheel, a stroll through the neighborhood, or take a trail. The large wheels with spring shocks allows us to take the stroller off road keeping the ride smooth for our son. With the seat in the full upright position there was some head bumping on the non-padded railing. I simply lowered it just a bit and a smiling baby boy once again. I would recommend this product to not only active parents but those who simply want a highly manoverable stroller with plenty of storage. Did I mention the caddie that holds two water bottles and a zipper pouch? Great for cell phone, ipod, etc.
