Review by Brandi Dringus "Matthew's mom" : Good stroller for fast walking/jogging 4 Star

I have had the Schwinn Joyrider Jogging stroller for about a month so far. I like the 20" bicycle tires , the shocks, 5 pt harness , hand brake and pedal brake. The brakes work very well. The stroller is very good for jogging and fast-paced walking , you really move in it. I also like the pockets for keys, cell phone, etc. They are roomy and close securely. The stroller is great if your neighborhood does not have sidewalks. The downside is that it is bulky and not easy to turn. If you were to buy this item, I would recommend that it not be your only stroller. I would not recommend it for keeping in your vehicle.

Review by Peter "Peter" : A Great Running Stroller 5 Star

I purchased the Schwinn PR300. I am very satisfied with its quality and how well it functions. I am 6'3", and I have no problem with the height of the handle in its most upright position. (The handle can be made to go very low too.) I did not have any issue with my stride, either. It may not be the lightest stroller, but unless you are using it for racing up hills, the weight is not really an issue. I have also had no issues with its tracking straight, and I have not had to make any adjustments. My son, who will be 3 in a couple months, did not want to get in it at first, but was very happy in it within 100 yards of running.

Review by Martin Frederiksen : Great jogging stroller! 5 Star

Bought this for my wife after having done lots of research looking for the best jogging stroller on the market. This is a great product! She absolutely loves it and so does my son.

Review by Roadside Ragan "Roadside Ragan" : Good Choice 5 Star

I began using this stroller for a one month old; he fit fine, with the addition of a head stabilizer (pillowy tube that cradles the baby's head). Granted, I wasn't moving at mach speed and I stayed on smooth surfaces (concrete, grass intermittently). I wouldn't recommend rough terrain such as gravel and dirt paths at such a young age. This product does not fold up tight like an umbrella stroller; no running strollers do. All three wheels must come off for transport in any sedan. The multiple pockets are so convenient for a mom out on a walk or run, but this may not be condusive for the racing competitor who is pushing their little one. Rest assured, most of the pockets can be removed. There is a fold down rain shield that completely encloses your little one; GREAT for wind blockage and keeping your little one snug - no excuses on not getting out to exercise on windy or cold days! The three wheels provide for maneuverability and stability; the fixed wheel is a must for avid runners. If you have a free spinning wheel, you get horrible vibration in front which leads to an uncomfortable ride and extreme wear on the product. It takes learning how to steer; again, if you are into this product to RUN with, you must have that fixed wheel.

Review by Carlie : Rollerblading with the Schwinn Joyrider Jogging Stroller 5 Star

This Stroller has more than lived up to the purpose it was bought for. Perfect for Rollerblading with. The fact that the front wheel is fixed is not an issue at all as the stroller is so lightweight that turning is ultra easy. I would recommend this stroller to anyone wanting to run or rollerblade with it. Not suited to shopping centres or indoors at all because of the size. Folding & removing wheels is very simple. I have found it easiest to keep the front wheel on and just remove the 2 back wheels when packing into the car.

Review by bellandjunior : Excellent! 5 Star

Wow! So impressed with this jogger. It is so light and easy to run/walk/jog with and is so easy to assemble. Exceeded all expectations. I especially love the hidden rain cover which is in the hood, so you never have to plan on the weather as the rain cover is built in so you'll never get caught out. Heaps of storage areas for all your bits and bobs and it looks stylish and is very sturdy. My daughter loves being in it (7 months old). It was shipped to me in Australia and arrived within 2 weeks. No fuss. I would recommend this jogger to everyone!

Review by Jill : Almost Perfect 5 Star

The Schwinn Joyrider Trailer/Stroller is "Almost" Perfect... I love it, my boys (4 yrs & 16 mos) love it, and everywhere we go it starts conversations, brings questions, and people tell me it is the coolest stroller/trailer they've seen (by the way, it is the perfect match in color to the "Baby Trend Sit N' Stand" Deluxe stroller (also comes in Plus and LX models) in the "Silverado" color that is grey/silver and black with red accents) What keeps the Schwinn Joyrider Trailer/Stroller from being "Perfect": 1. Yes, the price is quite a bit higher than you can find at your local chain store - but the quality of the Joyrider is significantly better than those products too and the seamless & quick transition from stroller to trailer make it a cut above. The Joyrider offers features such as the adjustable height handlebar, domed mesh screen and detachable weather shield, the removable seat pads (which are crucial when your toddler has an "accident" or spills his drink everywhere), plastic/rubber floor for easy clean-up, adjustable harnesses (sit right, left, center, or two at the same time), storage area that can fit several bags of groceries... I could go and on.... I had an InStep bike trailer from a chain store that converted to a stroller and it served its purpose, but there is no comparison. 2. I would like this product to come with a sun shield (I would buy it as an additional accessory if they made one). I bought the Joyrider because I couldn't find a trailer/jogger with anything more than a glorified parasol - which does not work in the afternoon sun and I thought I could use the weather shield in a way to make it suffice. (I safety-pinned on burp cloths to the Instep's mesh to serve this purpose on long walks). At the very least, the weather shield could have some minor modifications made to serve this purpose more effectively. I have found a not-perfect way to use the weather shield for this purpose (while it is zipped on, I fold it up twice to keep the low morning or afternoon sun off of my fair-skinned toddler). If the weather shield had some additional Velcro tabs on it - that would make it work much better.... When I walk in the wind it is a bit of a hassle to keep it in place to protect my little guy from the sun. And, when I am biking, the wind can unravel the fold and it will flap. A sun shield is not a deal-breaker - since the weather shield sort of works, but it would definitely enhance the product. 3. Another reason I chose the Joyrider was for the purpose of fitting two boys comfortably, which it does (my eldest is 4 ft tall and 58 lbs. and wears a size 7, and can fit in there with my 16 month old who is 29 lbs and wears 24 months)... the drawback is that it is a little wider than most (by a couple inches) and you do occasionally run into a doorway that you cannot navigate easily. I have only had to take one of the side wheels off once (and that was easy with the push of a button)... (I now know the one store that has a larger entry door than exit door... go figure). In any case, it hasn't kept me from going where I want to go with it. I even take in in the very back of my Mercury Sable wagon. I can fit my sons bike (16in) and the collapsed Joyrider in the very back - I just release the front swivel wheel. 4. Lastly, I just had to re-order a replacement for the cup holder & zippered pack accessory. It fell off somewhere while I was riding. It had done that a few times before - especially when going over rough terrain while holding a full bottle of water - so I should have known better. The replacement was only $7 plus shipping - so that was great news - When it arrives I plan to wire that thing on so it will never fall off again. (I'm just glad my cell phone wasn't in the zippered pack where I normally put it). Perhaps instead of a metal tab, there could actually be clips to secure this accessory better. All around an "Almost" Perfect product!

Review by Go Chargers! : Great For jogging 3 Star

This is a great stroller for jogging on all types of roads; sidewalks, dirt, gravel, etc. The only problem I had is that the console pouch metal tab was broken when I received it, so there is no way of attaching the pouch onto the stroller, which means there is no where to put my water or daughter's drink when we go out for a jog. I called and asked for a replacement and received a pouch within a week, but there were no metal tabs on the replacement so I still could not attach it to the stroller. I called back and Schwinn said they were sending the correct pouch as soon as they could- I am still waiting, and it has been over 3 weeks. Overall good stroller, if you can get one with accessories that are not defective.

Review by Lisa M. Childs "new mom" : best jogging stroller out there! 5 Star

I recently purchased the schwinn joyrider jogging stroller for our 4 mth old. I enjoy walking and my husband enjoys running, so this stroller was the perfect fit for both of our needs. This stroller is lightweight, easy to use, extremely sturdy, and has all the bells and whistles. Our 4 mth old absolutely loves riding in it, and fits very comfortably in the seat (mind you he is very BIG for his age). This is a must buy for any avid runner looking for a jogging stroller. It is definitely worth the money compared to the less expensive models out there! You will not be dissapointed.

Review by K. Franklin : Impressive, but know what you are getting.... 5 Star

We purchased a $100 "jogging stroller" from a box store when our son was born. We used it, liked it as a stroller but never as a jogging stroller. After much consideration and research, we gave the Joyrider a shot. The price placed it below the seriously high-brow models which made us feel better, we are aspirational runners. We both run, but not enough to spend a semester's worth of tuition on a stroller. We both completely understand that "you get what you pay for" in this market and we are both 5-star happy with what we got. The stroller is long. Storage is an issue, we have no garage so we fold it and store it upright against a wall. This really isn't that different from the other strollers we have, they are large pieces of equipment and they aren't really designed for low-profile storage. No worries, just know it is large. The wheels on this thing ROCK. The suspension on it ROCKS. Our son is very happy with the new ride. I have had no problems with the storage thing, it holds bottles of water and has a zip-tight pocket for phone/keys/hotwheels/etc. The rain-shield is great and its nice to have it on-board at any time. Brake is a nice feature though really isn't that useful. I would like to know what the deal is with this stroller also being a trailer, though we are using it solely as a stroller. Be confident that this is a good stroller for running and for the kid. The wheels and suspension are well made as is the adjustable handle bar. You aren't going to go wrong...and with the money you save you can fork out for some new shoes...you'll need them sooner than you think. Good luck!
