The Ergo Caboose is better than ever! Thanks to our great customer feedback, this stylish modern stand-on tandem stroller has been fine tuned. First, we?ve changed the canopy front panel to a rigid one that cannot be blown around by the wind. It?s still giant by stroller standards and it provides the great sun protection that Joovy is known for. The innovative rear canopy (removable) was invented by Joovy to give the rear child full sun protection and the zippered periscope top allows the rear child to stand. Kid?s love it and think it?s cool! Second, we tweaked the twin piston front wheel suspension. This improves the performance of the twin sealed bearing rubber front wheels and gives your children a comfortable smooth ride with the least amount of effort by the pushing parent. Nothing rolls better than an Ergo Caboose! Third, we updated the front seat recline mechanism with a magnetic recline lock for easy seat adjustments on this award winning stroller seat. The transitional mesh seat is the most advanced stroller seat available today. This ergonomically designed seat helps eliminate pressure points by evenly distributing the child?s weight across the entire mesh seat; this technology keeps working as your child grows to the maximum size accommodated. To make the care givers life easier the stroller has a swing open front tray for easy buckling and unbuckling of your child in the front seat. The tray can be removed and the individual cup holders can be installed for older children. The basket is huge and easily accessible; the rear bench seat flips open for full access. The outside of the basket has large mesh pockets for easy storage of small items that are quickly accessible. The rear car seat attachment is included and its location is awesome... mom?s love having their newborn in the rear of the stroller within arm?s reach. Try the new Ergo Caboose! You will love the experience of moving your family in comfort and style. Features Benefits: New Rigid Front

Review by V's mom : Wonderful Double Stroller 4 Star

I was somewhat tentative about the purchase since some of the reviews of this product have been mixed. Our main stroller, the Uppa Baby Vista, we love. My almost 3 year old son is at the weight limit (35 lbs) for the additional rumble seat to make the Vista a double so I was pressed to find a good solution for our newborn and toddler that would last. The Ergo Caboose seems to be it! I LOVE that the infant car seat is close to the parent. My 3 year old loves to ride up front with no obstructions to his view. The under basket is large and fairly easy to access. The stroller maneuvers well (definitely harder to steer than our Uppa Baby Vista but not bad at all) and can fit into most spaces a traditional double cannot. It is easy to fold and while it is quite heavy to lift in and out of the car, it isn't terrible. I could manage it 3 weeks postpartum from a c-section delivery. The stroller looks great too, love the styling and love that this is something that will last for several years for us - the weight limit and seating combinations are great. I really like it so far and am glad I got one!

Review by lab88 "lab88" : Does its job very well, and Joovy stands behinds its products! 5 Star

I've had this stroller for a little more than six months. When I bought it I had a barely 3 year old son, and a 3 month old baby. My 3 year old is now 43 inches and still has plenty of room in both the front and the back seat. I can't shop without a stroller that will fit both kids - even when I wear my baby I need a place to put her if I put her down. The Joovy Ergo is so much more useful than any other stroller I've tried. Every other stroller I've had has been good for a while, but then due to its limitations we outgrow it. This one is adaptable, so I'm still happy with it even now that my newborn is growing up. We're still using it mostly with the baby in her baby carrier. I LOVE that she is up high and next to me. I was worried it would be hard to push with my 39lb son in front, but it is SO much easier than the Graco Quattro Duo we had before. It's not a one-hand push when the heavier child is in front, unless you're just going straight. My son sleeps in the front seat a lot while my daughter sleeps in the front. With most any other sit-n-stand they wouldn't be able to do that. When we use it with the baby in front and the big kid in back, I can push and turn it with one hand. It doesn't "turn on a dime," but it goes much better than other tandems. I good side-by-side can turn better, but IMO side-by-sides are for walks, not shopping or crowded areas. The Joovy goes to the mall/stores/museums and fits very well through crowds. The Joovy also performs fairly well on grass. We have thick grass where I live, and I was worried about this, but it performs well enough that I'm getting rid of my jogging stroller because we don't need it anymore for grass excursions (I don't jog!). It pushes through snow pretty well. The front wheels aren't that big, and I don't want the basket wet, so I avoid snow, but it pushes pretty well in an inch or so. There's an art to going up a curb in it. It's fairly easy to push on the back bar and raise the front of the stroller (much easier than the tandem Graco!) but the front wheels are on quick bearings and they will skitter around fast if you are not careful. The first time I did it I thought I was going to lose the whole thing, but it was fine, just a disconcerting feeling. The canopies are AWESOME. My son often hides in the front one, like it's his cave. The new models don't have the floppier fleece front part of the hood (now it's all the same fabric). I didn't mind the floppy fleece anyway. It works well and I like to be able to fold it back. The basket is really big, and SO easy to get to. It's harder to get to when the infant seat is in place. I also sometimes tip the canopy all the way to the front and put big bags on the front seat that way, held in by the canopy. My son says the mesh seat us realy comfy. He loves it. It's certainly got plenty of room for him. It weighs less and is easier to handle than our previous Graco Quattro Tour Duo (which I only kept a few months!). It fits in the trunk of my Honda minivan. It's BIG. It's a BIG double tandem stroller. It's just SO comfortable to use once you've got it out. I've done the lightweight thing, and it's nice for certain times, but most of the time when we're out I need a place for sleepy kids and all of our winter coats, baby stuff, and shopping stuff. The build quality is very solid. Our Gracos had parts start to wear through by this time, but the Joovy has held up. I did have a problem with the front seat flopping back sometimes because I have the first version of this stroller (they changed the mechanism now), but I called Joovy and they're sending a whole NEW stroller. That's incredible customer service and amazing product support! In my experience this is not the norm! They are going above and beyond here, and I can say that I will recommend Joovy products to everyone because they are standing by what they sell. No one wants to spend hundreds of dollars on something and be told to use velcro or tape to fix it, but I've heard of other companies doing just that! Joovy has also listened to what people said about the Ergo and made some new updates to fix issues that people had (like the seat recline and the canopy). I've noticed that Joovy did that with the Joovy Ultralight, too. It's a two-hand fold. Once it's folded you can roll it on the rear wheels really easily, so moving it isn't too hard. It's heavy to lift into the trunk, yes, but it's significantly lighter than the Graco tandem. Hust some random information about our experiences with the stroller: When the weather turned cold I bought the padded seat covers, and they're very nice. My son chose green and it looks sharp and has stayed clean. I like the seat covers a lot. The rear seat cover means you have to move it a little before you can flip up the rear seat to get full access to the basket, but it's no big deal to me. I know some people have complained about that. I guess you could just use the front cover and leave the rear one off. We started out with a Graco Quattro Tour Duo, but it was hard to push with my son and daughter in it, very heavy, and with a 3 year old the stroller seat is not ideal. After two years old, it seems like most kids are just much happier in the "big kid" sit 'n stand. We tried the Phil & Ted's, but since my son is so tall for his age, it just wouldn't work because the baby would have to be in the doubles kit, and with the double's kit on there's no room for diaper bags and winter coats. We tried the Baby Jogger City Mini Double, but 3 year olds and up don't want to sit in a baby seat, and that thing is really BIG. Don't get me wrong, the Joovy Ergo is also big, but I've had it side by side with a BJCMD in a museum, and the BJCMD had a lot of trouble navigating the crowds, whereas the Joovy just goes right through. I chose this over the Joovy Ultralight because my son sits in the stroller so often, and because my daughter was so young when I bought it. If they were like age 1.5 and 4.5, I'd have gotten the Ultralight. The Ergo is almost a foot longer, so obviously it's more comfortable but less like a single stroller than the Ultralight. Can this be the only stroller I own? No. It's the size of a tandem double stroller, so it's big. It's heavy compared to a lightweight stroller. I'm not sure how it's going to travel. So, I still need a lightweight travel stroller. I'm thinking of getting a Joovy Kooper, since I'm so happy with this Joovy product and the way that Joovy stands behind their products. We're taking it to Disney World in a few months and I'll try to post an update on how it goes. If I were going alone I wouldn't be able to carry the baby and the stroller on the bus by myself, but since my husband is there he can do the stroller and I'll wear the baby. We debated taking a lightweight stroller, but in the end I'd rather be comfortable all day than be comfortable on the Disney bus. Somehow people rent Baby Jogger City Mini Doubles and take those on the buses, and those look just as big or bigger in person, so I think this will be fine.

Review by Kelly Lane/Immunex Coorporation : Terrible Back Wheel Design 3 Star

We had a BOB Revolution Jogger for our first child and it was just fantastic. I didn't want to get the double version to accomodate the new baby since my two year old can barely sit still, so was excited to find a sit and stand stroller with inflatable tires....which in my mind makes it much easier to get around town. So far I am deeply disappointed with that back wheel design. They provide a pump to inflate, but the space between the valve and the center of the wheel is improbably tight making what should be a very simple process almost impossible. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE design. They seriously need to address this part of the design. In other ways it seems to be a fine stroller.

Review by mom of two : LOVE it! 5 Star

I LOVE this stroller! I was a little hesitant to buy it because of the mixed reviews I saw about it, but I decided to go for it anyways and I'm so happy I did. I have a 22 month old and a 2 month old. I wanted this stroller because it's the only sit and stand type of stroller that puts the infant carrier in the back so my older child can still have a seat. I have a chicco infant seat and it fits wonderfully. I love how we'll be able to grow with this stroller because it is so versatile. It is a big stroller but it's worth it because of the comfort for my kiddos. I was surprised on how easy it is to push with both kids loaded on. Quality product!!!! It's a must for two kids close in age!

Review by Daryle C. Taylor : Exactly what I expected 4 Star

This is a well constructed stroller. The usual complaints are true. It is heavy. Let me repeat. THIS STROLLER IS HEAVY. It is sort of incomplete as well as you really need the deluxe seat covers and parent organizer to make it a usable stroller. That being said, it is easy to assemble, and once you figure out how to fold it, it folds easily. It is precisely what we needed and expected. Minus one star for the weight.

Review by AS : Great stroller but not as practical as hoped 4 Star

(Amazon was $299) This is a GREAT sit and stand stroller but as stated was not as practical for us as hoped, overall the design and construction is very well made with one exception the floppy canopy (see other video reviews online), you can simply pull that portion of the canopy over the rest but looks a bit odd. The "tandem" design will not navigate the department store inner isles any better, of special note it was difficult to push/steer with a older child up front. Another anoying negative is extra purchase of seat cushions, though it is not needed. As far as size double strollers typically dont run on he small size, so best to have a large vehicle, I dont think this would fit sidesways in a small trunk. As far as fold up, its colapses and opens very easily. I would say this stroller is a great buy for $299 if you can find on sale. In the end we decided on a side by side Baby Jogger City Mini and wished we did so sooner.
